So this is a part of my hunt for an ideal Tomato Leaf/Vine hand soap. Several years ago while outfitting myself with basic necessities after moving to Minneapolis, I bought a foaming hand soap from Target. As I recall it was method brand, but the scent was the most delightful, photo-realistic tomato vine. It smelt just like my hands after harvesting tomatoes from the garden. It was amazing.
What I didn’t realize at the time was that it was a limited edition scent. So when the soap at work ran out (and I was still waiting for my expenses to be paid) I enthusiastically brought my tomato vine soap from home. Needless to say, it was well enjoyed and didn’t last long.
Since then I have been searching for a replacement. And so a couple of months ago I got Campagna from Michel Design Works which bills itself as a tomato leaf scent. But while it is super pleasant and I enjoy it every day, and there is a tomato leaf note somewhere in there, overall it is much more of a French Mediterranean countryside experience, with some lavender, etc along with the tomato leaf.
It is actually really very nice, but my hunt continues.
